Canadian Players Hub is an independent, non-commercial fan project tracking Canada Men's National Team players and their club form.
Where the data comes from
Player appearances, minutes, goals, assists, ratings, and match results are pulled from API-Football. Canadian Premier League figures come from the league's published Opta data. Club crests, competition logos, and player headshots are served from those providers' media CDNs.
FotMob is used for links, not statistics — player names and match rows deep-link to the matching FotMob page so you can see the full detail there. CPL player headshots are also served from FotMob's image CDN.
International caps, goals, and clean sheets are maintained by hand after each Canada match. Squad selections and eligibility calls are editorial — they reflect a reading of public reporting, not any official team list.
How often it updates
Club form and player stats refresh twice a day, at 7 AM and 5 PM Mountain Time — the morning run picks up the previous night's North American matches, the afternoon run the same day's European ones. Canadian Premier League data refreshes once a day, at midnight Eastern, after the evening's fixtures. Fixtures, results, and the World Cup archive are updated manually after each international. The system status page shows when the last successful run completed.
Accuracy
Everything here is unofficial and provided as-is. Upstream providers can be late, incomplete, or wrong; transfers, loan moves, and registration changes can take days to appear; and hand-maintained figures can carry mistakes. Nothing on this site should be treated as an official record or used for betting, scouting, contractual, or any other decision that matters. If you spot something wrong, let me know.
Privacy
There are no accounts, no sign-in, no contact forms, no ads, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site never asks you for personal information, so none is collected.
Analytics
Page views are counted with GoatCounter, a privacy-focused analytics service that sets no cookies and does not track visitors across sites. It records aggregate information about a visit — the page URL, referring site, browser and operating system, screen size, and country. See GoatCounter's privacy policy for exactly what it stores.
What's stored in your browser
Two small values are saved in your browser's local storage and never sent anywhere: cmnt-theme, your light or dark theme choice, and cmnt-starting-xi, the lineup you build on the Starting XI page. Clearing your browser's site data removes both.
Third-party requests
Loading a page fetches images from the API-Football, FotMob, and Canadian Premier League media CDNs, fonts from Google Fonts, and the analytics script from GoatCounter. Those providers see the request the same way any site visit is seen by a CDN.

All club crests, competition logos, team names, and player images are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification in an editorial, non-commercial context. If you own one of these marks and want it removed, get in touch and it will be taken down.
About the site
